So my kids were playing on the quad and left the ignition ON and drained the battery. I didn't notice till the following weekend the key was left to the on position. I charged the battery up, got the positive(red) connected but every time I hook the negative, my starter fuse blows! I've scanned the wiring for any grounded wires but don't see anything externally. The battery is in the correct position as well. Any suggestions???

Try connecting the neg wire first then the pos wire.

I was assuming that would be a bad thing being that positive is ground? i'll pick up some new fuses and try it out in the morning. thanks
