I do understand the the various harnesses, however, what is the 12-volt receptacle for?

Power is sent through the harness, or could this be just for additional power hookups?

any 12 volt accessory or Toy you can think of ....

12 volt mini air compressor
12 volt work light
ect
ect
you could even charge your cell phone while camping ( if you take one along )

Ahhh ok so its just a 12v adapter. I was thinking at first that I know of no trailers with that type of harness. Maybe I need to think about things a little more
