Who all would like to put a neon kit on their ATV? How awsome would that be?

Not sure how rugged the housing or ballast is on those...it would seem to be that they would get destroyed pretty quick.

Now, if you had a display bike that you use to show, then they may be beneficial.

A lot of duners run neon lights on there quads, it looks awesome when duning at night. I prefer not to run neon lights on my quad because I ride tracks, trails with a lot of water and mud but if I rode only in dunes I would defiantly run them just because it looks awesome at night.

My buddy had LEDS on his hayabusa and it was sharp at night, so guess what we are gonna be doin so, yep puttin leds on our quads will post up pics when we do it.

its not a stick its like this strip thing and its flexable...15" and i got the end with the wires comming through the opening of the pegs...their pretty sweet lol and looks mean comming down the road..and the strip is practicly water proof

I am the buddy that had the hayabusa with LEDs around it.. Me and redneck use to install neons and stuff on cars.. as long as you seal all the joins and cracks with silicone and they are mounted up out of the way, they should be ok.. the idea behind neons is to see the glow and not the bulbs..

which is what is done...got the side view where its way under showing the bulbs..but their not completly out of the way haha but im thinking they will last throught the mud and water..im just worried about the rocks smashing agenst themah i got one on the left and one on the right side. lol

sweet, alot of people put the shining down on the motor also.. has anyone been on e-bay lately.. the have a set of 4 8" or 12" neons and remote to turn them off and on for like $59 + shipping..

I am gonna order some LED"S soon for that bling factor!!!LOL

Have you thought about mounting the neon lights underneath the fenders, or even under the fuel tank?

i keep teasing the wife that i am going to put red oscillating leds in the hood of the r....like k.i.t.t. the more i tease, the more i like the idea. if i could find some that do that, i would buy them

ok here are some pics of the leds on my 400ex they look really sharp in person and we used almost 20 of them. the pics dont do them justice. let me know what yall think. the pics were taken with my camera phone so they are not the best.

Looking good, I wish I had some time to have some projects but it is just not happening. Also, the 110+ degrees outside does not help either

i gave up. i need somemore ideas. like maybe inside the fenders or somethin like that.

my honest opinion is that neon on a quad is about as gay as you can get...unless it is a show quad or a duner only...

there is just no reason to...they get covered with mud and dust and don't show up during the day...90% of anybodies riding is during the day when they can't be seen anyway
